Paw&Claw Ink has three types of submissions: General, Anthology, and the Bog

General Submissions

Paw&Claw Ink publishes English-language single-author collections and novels in the horror genre.

A.I.-generated writing or art will NOT be accepted. Those found submitting A.I. work will be blacklisted from submitting to Paw&Claw Ink in any capacity (the Bog, the anthology series, general submissions) in the future. 

Submissions are currently CLOSED.

Blog Submissions

The Bog is open and accepts contributions in the following categories: essays, horror media review, creative nonfiction or personal essay, and flash fiction. All contributions must be related to the horror genre and written in English.

Word Limits:
– Up to 3,500 words for essays, reviews, and creative nonfiction
– Up to 500 words for flash fiction

Paw&Claw Ink takes submissions through the form below. Submissions sent via any other method WILL NOT be accepted.
If you wish to be published anonymously or under a pseudonym, please state so in the form.

Anthology Submissions

The Paw&Claw Anthology Series holds a biannual open call for submissions in the following categories, set on a theme: flash fiction, short stories, and visual art. Submissions must be related to the horror genre and written in English.

A.I.-generated writing or art will NOT be accepted. Those found submitting A.I. work will be blacklisted from submitting to Paw&Claw Ink in any capacity (the Bog, the anthology series, general submissions) in the future. 

PROSE-SPECIFIC GUIDELINES:
– Max 2,500 words, no minimum
– You may submit only one piece per submissions window
– Must be in English
– .doc, .docx, or .pdf file uploads only
– A double-spaced simple font is preferred but not mandatory

VISUAL ART-SPECIFIC GUIDELINES:
– You may submit up to three pieces of art, of any form, per window
– Only 2D mediums or photographs of 3D mediums
– .png, .jpg, .jpeg file uploads only
– Files should have a minimum of 300 DPI resolution to ensure quality printing
– Full color art is accepted for digital sharing, but we are only able to print in B&W—a version of each would be appreciated
