Happy Halloween to one and all, and a Happy Birthday to Paw&Claw Ink! We’re two years old today and what a horrifying two years it’s been. We want to thank everyone that’s supported us so far whether that’s been through buying our books, coming to our event, submitting your work or just talking about us with a friend. We wouldn’t be almost four books in without the incredible support you’ve all given us so from the bottom of our viscera covered hearts, thank you all.
We’re currently in the midst of reading through all of your horrifying work for Unearthly and Ungodly and we have been blown away by the sheer amount of submissions we’ve received for this volume. We never could have imagined this kind of following back when we were messaging about potential first theme ideas on Discord all the way back in 2023. We spent years learning the theory of publishing, speaking of it only in hypotheticals and practicing it only with large safety nets. The past two years we’ve been able to experiment, fail, succeed and ultimately grow.
It’s been an incredible time, but we aren’t finished yet, not by a long shot. We’ve been working on a lot behind the scenes these past few months, such as designing merchandise, planning for more events and maybe even planning on publishing more weird and wonderful stories. And to kick off our birthday, we wanted to make an exciting announcement: the Paw&Claw Anthology Series is getting a re-brand. Now, reintroducing, What Might Kill You!
We’re in our terrible twos, and we can’t wait to continue terrifying you all.
—Mikey & Lyn, Paw&Claw Ink
